Chalet Auris - traditional ski chalet for summer and winter

A traditional ski chalet and tranquil summer retreat in the village of Les Cours by Auris-en-Oisans!

While our chalet is a very short drive or bus ride from the best family resort in the Alpe D'Huez domaine, our prices are approximately half that of comparable ski-in / ski-out chalets, which works out at almost £1,000 less than our competitors in high season.
We have structured our prices to provide sizeable discounts for smaller groups of up to 4(outside of high season).
There are few ski areas to rival Alpe d'Huez for extent and variety of terrain. It has extensive, high, sunny slopes ranging from 3,320m to 1,120m. There are 235kms of pistes and 87 lifts in an efficient, modern system.
The chalet has spectacular views down the valley. It is very spacious, and can sleep up to 13, although 9 guests is more comfortable.
It has all modern conveniences including TV/DVD, stereo, playstation2, phone, washer & dryer, baby facilities and fully equiped kitchen. A floorplan is included on the website.
In the summer this is cycling and walking country, with world class road cycling (Tour de France) and mountain biking.

Accommodation:

3 double beds, bunk beds and a single bed. Double sofa bed, 2 comfortable camp beds, plus a cot available. Fresh bedding and towels provided.
Lounge with open woodburner, TV, DVD and CD player. For the kids there is a games console with a variety of games. 2 large sofas and a dining table to accommodate 8 comfortably.
Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need including cutlery, crockery, utensils, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, etc.
Sun terrace with large picnic table and benches, ideally for a summer breakfast or evening barbeque.
Cellar - plenty of hot water supplied by two massive tanks. Also in the large cellar are the washer and dryer and plenty of storage space for skis or cycles.
