Aspen - Ski, Snowboard & Summer Holidays
Aspen lies in Colorado's Rocky Mountains and has a reputation for glamour and cool.
The ski area is made up of four mountains; Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk, with 5300 acres of terrain between them and enough to satisfy everyone from the gnarliest powder hounds to timid beginners.
It is a vibrant town and has long been popular with the glitterati - Jack Nicholson has a home there, and many celebrities come to enjoy the skiing and the atmosphere.
The chic boutiques, lively apres ski and a wide range of restaurants from gourmet fine dining to budget however, give it a broad appeal - it's not just a millionaires' playgorund. There are also art galleries, museums, health and fitness clubs and loads of entertainmnet options.
Aspen's four mountains are connected by a super efficient shuttle service and offer something for everyone. Advanced skiers will enjoy the challenging double diamond runs on Aspen mountain. Snowmass has acres of perfectly groomed pistes for the intermediate and Buttermilk's gentle slopes are ideal for learning. Aspen Highlands has some great terrain and is great for powder days. Snowmass and Buttermilk both have snowparks for the teenager within us.
Aspen is also a lively and exciting summer destination - with a good and varied programme of events and activities.
