The majority of the apartment blocks and hotels are ski in ski out. Set on a clifftop overlooking the Morzine valley, Avoriaz offers easy access into the extensive Portes du Soleil ski area. </p> <p>It has become a popular resort for snowboarders as well as skiers with plenty of choice of terrain, ski and snowboard parks and half pipes. Holiday accommodation is set in blocks along the snow covered streets.
