  • Situated in the village of Govedartsi, The Iskar hotel and chalets provides an ideal base for your ski holiday in the Bulgarian resort of Borovets, but away from the crowds.
  • The accommodation consists of 5 double and 3 twin rooms with ensuite shower rooms
  • In the grounds of the hotel are 5 individual wooden chalets, each sleeping 2-3, with glorious views of the surrounding snowy countryside and Rila mountains.
  • There is a restaurant and bar for breakfast and evening meals, where you can get together with others to swap stories about your day.

Ski season
  • The chalet style of catering offers meals cooked to high English standards - breakfast plus 3 course evening meal
  • Provide daily scheduled shuttle to and from Borovets ski slopes.
  • Local ski slope only 300 meters away - nursery slope plus blue/red run
  • Brand new skis and boots available to our guests to hire. Full ski package including skis, boots, ski pass and lessons only £155 for adults, £115 for children
  • Airport transfer to/from Sofia on £30 per person

Accommodation:

  • 8 double and twin rooms in the small hotel plus 5 individual spacious chalets
  • each have a large veranda/balcony overlooking a stunning view of the mountains and forest.
  • Inside the bedrooms, which are designed by London designers, are furnished by local craftsmen in a contemporary style and modern linen and English duvets finish the comforable fresh look.
  • Each bedroom has ensuite shower and wc with heated towel rail - towels are provided
  • Large, open plan lounge and bar with log fire, the bar is stocked with local wines, beer and spirits. 
  • Restaurant area for breakfast and 3 course evening meal for all the guests 
  • DVD and TV with surround sound, DVD games
  • library of books where you can swap your holiday 'read' for one of the library stock

    • cooked by our own English chalet host
    • example : spicy butternut squash soup, loin of pork with dauphinois potatoes, fresh lemon tart

  • Cheap private bar with a selection of wines and beers, spirits and soft drinks
