Arosa Ski and Summer Holidays
Arosa is situated in a high, sheltered basin and is possibly as close to the image of a classic Swiss ski resort as you could possibly get. It is a remote village set at 1800m at the head of a wooded valley.
The main development is at Obersee, from where lifts go up into the Weisshorn sector. Further up the roa is Inner Arosa, a prettier hamlet than Obersee, with lifts into both the Weisshorn and the Hornli sectors.
For stays during the summer and autmn, the Arosa Card provides free lift access, free boat hire. There is also swimming or sunbathing at the natural swimming and 'beach' area..
