Davos shares much of its slopes with Klosters, favourite resort of many a European crowned head. The ski area is extensive and has something for everyone - good off piste, long and interesting intermediate runs and the chance to visit a different area everyday. It was one of the first alpine resorts to develop for skiers, with a railway built for skiers in 1931 and the first drag lift built in 1934. For more details see the winter factfile.
