Situated in the Southern French Alps, in the département of the Haute Alpes, Dévoluy is easily reached from Grenoble. The area is composed of various unspoilt, charming villages, and is ringed by impressive peaks, such as the Bure (2709m) and the Obiou (2789m).

In winter the main ski area is shared by 2 ski resorts, Superdevoluy and La Joue du Loup. The ski area comprises 100km of pistes, and provides a great range of terrain. There is also a cross country ski area covering 20km.
