With over 200km of walking trails, it is a hiker's paradise, with a richness of flora and fauna to observe along the way. There is fishing in the many mountain lakes and a varied range of mountain bike tracks to suit all levels.
The Lake Lioson, near Les Mosses, is known as "the pearl of mountain lakes", and is at 1890m under the upper slopes of Pic Chaussy.
