Lus la Croix Haute
Lus la Croix Haute is the highest village in France's Drôme region, with it's tallest peaks rising to 2400m. It is situated at the border of two départements - Isère and the Haute-Alpes. To the east is the Devoluy mountain range and to the west the Diois Massif.
The area comprises several little hamlets and the local ski area, La Jarjatte, is a great place to take your first steps in alpine skiing. There is also cross-country skiing available. Just 40 minutes away there is higher altitude skiing at Super Devoluy.
In the summertime the range of activities available include mountain biking, hiking, climbing, via ferrata and generally exploring and enjoying an impressive and still unspoilt alpine environment.
