About Chalet Le Bois Rond
- This beautiful privately owned chalet is available on a self-catering basis and is ideal for families or larger groups.
- Le Bois Rond is a substantial chalet, nestled in the trees of Taconnaz between Chamonix and les Houches.
- Set in its own secluded grounds with south facing views of the Mont Blanc massif and to the north a panorama of the valley itself.
- The ski area of Les Houches, which hosted the 2000 downhill world cup is a two minute drive away, and Chamonix town is five minutes by car.
- Accomodation in the chalet is very generous, sleeping 11 comfortably.
- There is a big open fire in the lounge, and a fully fitted and equipped kitchen adjoining the dining area. In the evening, if the weather is warm enough, you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the views of Mont Blanc and the Chamonix Aiguilles as they turn flaming red in the light of the setting sun....an unbeatable setting for a vin chaud!
- In the large utility room, downstairs, there is ample space to dry out wet gear after a day on the hill and storage space abounds.
