Chalet La Cachette, is situated on the south side of the Chamonix valley, just a 10 minute drive from Chamonix centre, with magnificent views of the Mont Blanc Massif including famous peaks such as the Dru, Vert, and Aiguille du Midi. Because of it's location this chalet receives sun most of the day through winter and summer. It has been recently refurbished with everything needed for your comfort and pleasure, including a luxurious outdoor hot tub, indoor sauna and gym, satellite TV, B & O music centre, WiFi PC... we have tried to think of everything. This chalet can also be taken catered; just let us know and we'll provide you with a quotation from an available chef.

The cosmopolitan town of Chamonix is nestled in the Haute-Savoie region of France, dominated by Western Europe's highest peak- Mont Blanc. The town, bordering Switzerland and Italy, is less than an hour from Geneva, and with a wide international mix, Chamonix has a real soul. Boasting 15,000 year-round residents, people have been coming here for well over a century. It is a true mountain mecca; as popular in summer for climbing and walking, as in winter for skiing and snow-boarding.
Chalet La Cachette is on the south side of the Chamonix Valley, deep in the forest on the edge of a village called Les Houches. Because of it's woodland location, La Cachette has easy access to walks and mountain biking. You can experience all that the forest has to offer at Merlet Animal Park where you can observe mountain fauna in their natural habitat, or test your skills at the Outdoor Adventure Park - a network of rope and bridges through the trees .

 

Situated in the forest, this luxurious chalet is an exquisite retreat for up to 10 people, enjoying the sun for most of the day and affording magnificent views of the Mont Blanc Massif. From the master bedroom you can wake up to a direct view of the famous Dru, one of Chamonix's well-known peaks. Unwind by the welcoming log fire in winter or enjoy evening meals al fresco during summer. The garden, with large decking area is perfect in any season. There is ample parking opposite the chalet.

La Cachette has 4 double bedrooms, 2 of which have a private balcony. The master bedroom has a double bed and a TV with full satellite facilities. The largest bedroom has 2 single beds and a futon bed, so comfortably sleeping 3 people. This bedroom also has a small gym, including multigym, bicycle, mat with sit-up frame and weights. There are 2 remaining bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. All rooms have a CD player and radio.

There is 1 bathroom with toilet upstairs and 1 shower room with toilet downstairs.

Outside on the patio there is a large hot tub which comfortably fits up to 6 people and offers magnificent views of the Mont Blanc mountain range.

On the lower floor there is a cedar sauna which accommodates 6 people.

A washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer and fridge can all be found in the utility room. This room is also perfect for storing and drying ski boots and gear.

The chalet is advertised as self-catered but if you wish we can arrange for a chef to cater for your evening and breakfast meals, either on a weekly basis or if you prefer just for a couple of days. In addition to this we also offer a welcome pack with a bottle of wine free of charge on your arrival.
