  • Welcome to The Alpine Ski and Golf Company. As a small independent catered chalet company, at the foot of Mont Blanc, in the Chamonix valley, we are here to offer parties of friends, family or corporate groups a quality catered service in a home from home environment.
  • Our aim is to provide both experienced as well as first time skiers and snowboarders with a fun, exciting and stress-free experience. Whether it's the extreme of the Vallee Blanche, the array of piste skiing, or just the beautiful scenic walks you're after, Alpine Ski and Golf can ensure you get the most out of your winter holiday.
  • As an owner operated company, Richard and Hannah will endeavour to meet all your expectations. We have put all our experience gained over many years in the hospitality and tourism trade into providing outstanding service that we hope will make an exceptional holiday to the Alps.

Accommodation:

  • Spectacular views up to the Aiguille du Midi greet you as you approach the peaceful and private location of Chalet Kate. Situated two minutes from the ski station of Les Houches, Chalet Kate boasts all the amenities of a modern chalet built in a traditional French style.
  • One spacious double bedroom with a stylish modern ensuite bathroom is situated on the ground floor. Continuing into the chalet, you enter the light and airy open plan living space. With its double heighted ceiling and south facing windows, you are presented with stunning views of the Mont Blanc Massif. Leading off this area is a twin bedroom and separate bathroom/WC. The large child friendly mezzanine overlooking the living area has twin beds leading on to a second double bedroom with ensuite WC.

Cuisine:

  • We believe that on your holiday you should be given the chance to experience a mouth-watering variety of both regional and classic French dishes. Using fresh, local produce, we have compiled a menu which is delicious and satisfying, that will provide the perfect end to a rewarding days skiing. This is your holiday so we will consult you about the menu before you arrive to ensure that you are satisfied that what we are providing is suitable for your family or group. For parties with children, if you prefer, we can provide a separate sitting with an alternative list of options. This will be agreed with you before arrival to make sure everyone is happy.
  • To start off your day we will provide an extensive breakfast offering you typically French foods with some home favourites. Greeted by a roaring fire, on you arrival back from the slopes, there will be a traditional tea laid out for you to see you through until dinner. Around 7pm, we will present you with a Kir as an aperitif to your evening meal. Following your three course dinner, we will offer you a glass of port to go with our selection of a different regional French cheese each evening, rounding off the meal with coffee and chocolates.
