A beautiful and traditional chalet, with a spectacular sunny mountain setting, five minutes walk from the Flegere lift.

You can wake up to views of Mont Blanc, the Aiguille du Midi, The Dru or Brevent and Flegere.
The garden is enormous, and gives onto pine woods.
There's TVs, DVDs, a stereo with iPod dock, PS2, games and wireless broadband - there's even a Scalextric.
The chalet has 5 bedrooms, including one ensuite bedroom in the cosy mazot - a charming little private chalet in the garden. There is an extra bed available on the mezzanine if needed.
Separate ski and snowboard room with racks and boot dryers, and room for ten bikes in summer.

The chalet, which faces south, was originally built in 1950 by a local guide. Now completely renovated, it retains the warm, welcoming feel of a real mountain home.
The Flegere ski lift is a five minute walk, accessing the largest linked area of Chamonix - Brevent and Flegere.
Located in the sunny and beautiful area of Les Praz de Chamonix, with a good range of restaurants, a couple of bars and a village shop close by.
Chamonix town centre is just five minutes by car or a pleasant twenty minute stroll along a quite road or through the woods.
Just one hour from Geneva Airport, snow sure with 90% of the slopes above 2000m.

Accommodation:

The garden is huge, and the views are spectacular in all directions - our hot tub is the perfect place to enjoy an Alpine sunset on the peaks.

The spacious and beautiful living room has very comfortable sofas, a widescreen TV with DVD player and PS2, Wifi, stereo with iPod dock, games (including a Scalextric set), DVDs and books, a bar and a mezzanine den. Doors open onto the covered balcony.

The traditional tiled kitchen is very well equipped with new modern appliances - there's a four ring halogen hob and fan oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. There's cast iron pans and good kitchen knives, and a raclette and fondue set for cheesy nights in. The big farmhouse table seats ten easily and there is a log fire. If you prefer, we can arrange a chef to come to the chalet and cook wonderful food especially for you - just ask when booking.

All the bedrooms in the chalet have fitted wardrobes, new, comfortable, full size mattresses (2m long), which can be made up as doubles or twins according to your group.

Bedroom 1 has a door onto the balcony and spectacular views of the Aigiulle du Midi and the Dru.
Bedroom 2 has a lovely view of the Flegere and Brevent peaks.
Bedroom 3 TV/DVD and a view of the woods.

Bedroom 5 is in the mazot...

A mazot is a traditional small chalet next to a larger one. This one is a warm and cosy ensuite double bedroom. It has its own shower, basin and WC and you can look out at the Aiguille du Midi from your bed. There's a TV/DVD and a stereo.

Bathroom 1 on the first floor has double sinks, bath and shower. There is a separate WC next to it.
Bathroom 2 on the ground floor is a fantastic new wet room with a granite wall, walk-in shower, sink and WC.
