  • Chalet in the Mountains have a fully equipped, tastefully furnished chalet with great mountains views which is suitable for groups of up to 8 or 16
  • The chalet is modern, recently built, but is constructed in the traditional "Chalet Mitoyen" style.
  • This means it can accommodate groups of up to 8 people on each side, or up to 16 if both sides are rented together - making it the ideal place for large or small groups and families.
  • The chalet is located close to the village of Les Houches in the Chamonix Valley and is positioned next to some woodland away from the main roads. So it's a very peaceful place to be, yet there's very easy access to the supermarkets, restaurants of Les Houches and the amenities of Chamonix.

Services:

  • Weekly rental rates start from as little as €800 inclusive of accommodation for 7 nights, bedding, and electricity. We can also offer special rates for long weekends and longer rentals over several weeks.
  • Need more than chalet accommodation? Chalet in the Mountains also offers you flexibility to arrange all aspects of your holiday.
  • Eat in eat out, you choose! We offer self catering accommodation, but with our unique “meals on wheels” service you can order in dinners or pack lunches. No need to decide how much cooking you want to do until you arrive.
  • Lessons everyday at 8.30? Only if you want to, we can pre-arrange lessons for you every level any day.
  • Want to try something different? Rock climbing? Ascent of Mont Blanc? Ice–climbing? Helisking? Or a moonlight decent of the Valley Blanche, the longest off-piste run in Europe? All winter and summer activities can be prearranged with a well established and reputable company of experienced local guides and instructors who offer special rates for clients of Chalet in the Mountains.
  • For ski and snowboard (and even snow scooter!) hire, we have special arrangements with a large local hire shop. Your personal discount vouchers will be provided on arrival.
