  • Chalet Tissières started life as a traditional French Alpine farm.  Built in 1552, it is one of the oldest chalets in the Chamonix Valley. It has been lovingly renovated and converted into a beautiful traditional chalet, maintaining its original features whilst offering the modern luxuries you'd expect.
  • Set in the heart of the valley the chalet is nesteled in a delightfull spot, yet still has easy access to Chamonix town centre (2 minutes drive away) and a similar distance to the friendly town of les Houches.
  • Ice and Orange run a daily drop off and pick up service with their mini bus to and from your local desired ski area. For people wishing to continue their evening they will gladly drop you into town to sample Chamonix's excellent night life !
  • There is a bus stop within 50 metres of the chalet, which offers a regular free transport service into Chamonix town centre, as well as the rest of the Chamonix valley. Bossons train station is only 300 metres distance from the chalet.

Cuisine:

We believe that excellent cuisine is an integral part of any holiday experience and naturally we set our standards high. You will find that a passion for both Continental, British and Global cuisine is reflected in our tasty menus with total emphasis placed on using only the freshest and whenever possible local ingredients.
Sample Menu:
  • Starter: Warm shitake and oyster mushroom salad, with melted goats cheese, hot pesto, honey and balsamic dressing.
  • Main course: Roast pork stuffed with peaches, thyme butter and orange glaze. Roast vegetables with warm pears and cream nutmeg potatoes.
  • Dessert: Home made carrot cake topped with cream cheese icing.
  • After dinner coffee & tea will be served accompanied by some chocolates.
  • Fine wine will be served throughout.
