A large and spacious chalet great for both winter and summer mountain holidays!

Chalet Le Chat Feroce sits just above the charming and traditional Alpine village of La Chapelle d'Abondance, on the edge of the popular ski resort of Chatel.
It is perfect for short breaks, just 40 miles from Geneva and its airport.
The chalet can either be booked on a fully catered or bed and breakfast basis for both week long bookings or short breaks.
Boasting a fantastic south-facing location, with spectacular views across the valley and to Switzerland beyond.

Accommodation:

Five large bedrooms all with their own bathroom.
The ground floor offers a large covered entrance with ski lockers and access to two bedrooms, a double with an ensuite shower room and a large family room with south-facing balcony and ensuite shower room.
Spacious sitting room with south-facing balcony and two further bedrooms. One double with an extra single bed and ensuite bathroom and another double with it's own private bathroom and separate toilet directly opposite
The lower ground floor offers a second large sitting room with south-facing balcony, open fire and access onto the terrace and garden.
Also on this floor is the kitchen and the dining room and a further large and sunny bedroom offering triple beds and a large ensuite shower room.
There is ample parking and plenty of space in the boiler room downstairs for drying damp gear and storing bulky cases.

Breakfast includes fresh bread and pastries with homemade jams, a choice of fresh juices, yogurts, cereals and fruit, along with a platter of local cheese and charcuterie. In addition a cooked breakfast is offered daily.
Upon your return to the chalet in the afternoon, tea will be laid out ready for you, offering a satisfying homebaked treat from the kitchen.
In the evening dinner will begin with a drink and appetisers, served by the fire or on the terrace. This will be followed by a four course dinner, served in the dining room, with selected regional wines. Coffee is then served in the sitting room by the fire.

The chalet is available on either a fully catered or bed and breakfast basis, for ANY length of stay.
For those staying on a fully catered basis, breakfast and afternon tea are served every day, whilst dinner is served six nights per week.
Your hosts, James and Lisa have been in the valley for several years and have a great deal of experience of working in ski resorts and running catered chalets.
We believe in giving our guests the flexibility to do their own thing, so whilst airport transfers are not included as standard, we are more than willing to arrange these for you and to run you to and from the slopes each day.
We are always available to provide local information and suggest daily itineraries.
