  • Set high on the slope of the Ville de Nant, a peaceful hameau between the lively ski resorts of Chatel and La Chapelle d'Abondance, La Ferme du Nant takes pride of place.
  • This beautiful, charming old farmhouse, which once housed cattle in the winter, now offers our clients the luxury, comfort and spaciousness, which can only be found in properties of this nature.
  • The focus for a holiday at La Ferme is on relaxation and flexibility, and this is reflected in everything we do. 

Accommodation:

  • La Ferme du Nant can accommodate between 12 and 18 people comfortably. All of the rooms are large and have en-suite bathrooms, beds which can be either twin beds or zipped together to form a king-size double. All rooms have towels and dressing gowns, hair dryers and we provide Molton Brown shampoos, bath and shower gels.
  • Your accommodation is split over two levels, well three including the DVD cellar!
  • The ground floor houses the dining room and a cosy sitting room with fire. Also on this floor there is the main kitchen, a drying room, ski boot drying equipment plus three of the en-suite bedrooms.
  • The upper floor has a large open plan sitting room with stunning views of the Mont de Grange nature reserve and log burning fire. This is where we serve canapés with pre dinner drinks. There are another three bedrooms on this floor.
  • Both floors have balconies and from the lower floor balcony you have access to the Jacuzzi.

Cuisine:

  • In the morning you start your day with a refreshing glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and choice of cooked or continental breakfast, whilst your skis and boots are loaded into the minibus for you.
  • Your evening begins with drinks and canapés served in the large sitting room, which has panoramic views across the Mont de Grange nature reserve.
  • This is followed by a 4-course gourmet evening meal complete with wines chosen by our sommelier.

Services:

  • Once you arrive at La Ferme du Nant you do not have to worry about a thing. We try to ensure that we look after all the logistics and remove all the hassle from your holiday, thus enabling you to relax and enjoy!
  • We pre-book your lift passes so there is no queuing at the lift pass office.
  • We pre-book your ski equipment which means that the time spent in the shop is reduced to a minimum
  • We offer a full ski guiding program whereby we leave La Ferme for the slopes at pre-arranged times for either a full days skiing or just a morning if you prefer.
  • We have a courtesy minibus service, which will take you to and from the local bars in the evening
  • Private transfers to and from Geneva
  • A free in-house bar
  • Pre booked restaurants for lunch 
  • Ski school bookings should anyone want lessons
  • Child care program which includes private lessons for the over 6's and les Marmottons' for the under 6's either all day or half day (there is an extra charge for these), we will take them to their lessons and ensure that they meet up with their parents at lunchtime if they are on a half day program. We also provide a child supper at 6.00pm.
