Chatel can be found just over the Swiss border, in the Haute Savoie, between Geneva and the Mont Blanc. It is an authentic French village, with numerous small restaurants, cafes and shops.
The Portes du Soleil ski area is extremely expansive and is partially located in Switzerland. Some of the famous names you can ski to include Morgins, Champery, Morzine and Avoriaz. Thanks to the great number of ski slopes with various difficulty ratings, both beginners and advanced skiers can indulge themselves in the Portes du Soleil. For the langlaufers, approximately 50 kilometres of ski runs have been marked out around the village, while the skaters can go to Vonnes Lake.

Chalet la Ferme is simple and attractive, with a charming ambience and offers a reasonable degree of comfort.
The chalet has 12 guest rooms, all with en-suite shower and toilet.
The well-appointed and cosy Stube has an adjacent sunny balcony. The chalet also has a (non) smoking room.

Three-course set menu dinner can be enjoyed in the "Auberge de la Dranse" restaurant, near the chalet.
