A perfect base for winter skiing and summer holidays - in idyllic surroundings!

High in the Italian Alps is the small idyllic town of Vezza D' Oglio in the Val Di Comonica that runs between the well know lakes of Garda and Como. It nestles about 25 kms from the Swiss border and is close to the main towns of Edolo and Ponte de Legno and the international ski resort of Passo Tonale/Ponte D Legno.
During the winter months, the village is perfectly situated for some of the best Alpine skiing available. The nearest ski lift is in Temu an easy 5 min drive or the ski bus stop is only 300 metres away. After the spring thaw, a whole new world emerges, a summer paradise, the perfect base for anyone who loves the outdoors. The apartment is only 500 metres away from the Adamello national park so you are free to roam where ever you like. The park is huge and has a great amount of wild life including eagles ,Deer, Marmot etc and all set in magnificent scenary.We have mountain bikeing,trecking,fishing,swimming etc as well as a 9 hole golf course or you can laze in the sun amid the magnificent scenary.
Our new apartment is typically alpine and is built to a very high standard with lots of exposed wooden beams and Italian tiled floor.It has a south facing balcony with fantastic views of the mountains and a very cosy log fire for those cold nights.It is well equiped for those evenings after the days activities with sat TV DVD and music systems.

Fully fitted kitchen area.
2 bedrooms, one with king size bed, the other with substantial adult size bunk beds.

When the snows come the area is transformed into a frozen playground and because of the altitude the snow is guaranteed from December to late April and skiing and other winter sports can be enjoyed.
The link between the resorts of Ponte D Legno,Temu and Passo Tonale are now complete and this now gives around 120kms of linked ski /boarding either through the forests of Temu/Ponte D Legno or above the tree line of Passo Tonale,the longest run is now 11 kms !For none skiers we have Ice rinks,snow shoe hire,Dog sledding,skidoos and a new indoor/outdoor sports centre and swimming pool as well as shopping and bars/restaurants.
The ski school at Ponte D Legno is renowned and caters for complete beginers to the more advanced ski/boarders.

The village is a paradise for walking, hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, fishing, golfing and swimming.
There are many golf courses in Lombardia, all within easy reach of Vezza D'Oglio, but at 1500m the alpine course of Ponte di Legno is not only one of the highest in Europe, it is surely one of the most picturesque.
The area is a mecca for for outdoor types with many activities to be enjoyed from simple walks along the streams and alpine meadows to the more energetic extreme sports . This is all available amid stunning scenery with many 3500 metre mountains.
