  • Skiing in Canada offers stunning scenery, friendly atmosphere, no language barriers, all the skier facilities, incomparable levels of customer service with a quality and quantity of snow considered superior to most other ski areas in the World. Unlike Europe all this can be offered at much lower prices and without the lift line ups and a relaxed local atmosphere.
  • The chalet, situated on the banks of the Elk River, is adjacent to the natural wilderness habitat.  From your chalet, your gaze will capture the Lizard Mountain Range, the Ski Hill, with its runs, vast bowls and cliff bands.

Accommodation:

  • The chalet is a log structure traditional to the area:
    • six bedrooms, twin or double
    • four bathrooms
    • spacious dining room
    • kitchen
    • bar area and large front room featuring a stone fireplace, library, cards and games area, TV, video and music system (bring your CD's)
    • outdoor balcony, HOT TUB and firepit. 
  • This Company is owned by the people who operate it so quality is the most important factor.

Cuisine:

  • Breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course evening meal to fine dining/cordon bleu standards served with BC wines are included.  Our certified chef will focus mainly on organic, regional and healthy foods.

  • As local residence of Fernie your hosts will be able to provide all local information plus any inside knowledge that the bigger outside operators will lack. 
  • The daily guiding will be unmatched by any other with the ski area being their playground for the past 6 years, your hosts will be able to guide you to secret areas hidden from the rest of the World.
  • Your hosts may also offer skiing tips and videoing to help you improve. Single people will have no difficulty in fitting in with the friendly lively ambience that your hosts will create.
  • Airport transfers and transport to the slopes (fixed times) included.
  • Flights can be arranged for £299 direct Gatwick/Manchester-Calgary, subject to availability!
