| | Help please! Looking for a self catered chalet or apartment suitable for our family of 5 (3 children aged 4, 6 and 7). We don't want to drive more than 9 hours from Calais ideally. We would love a log fire and a hot tub. And need a resort that caters for children. And need it to be easy to get to the slopes. I cannot offer you a log fire or hot tub but what I can offer you is a great apartment right next to the pistes in the family ski resort of Morillon 1100, part of Grand Massif and only just over one hour from Geneva, so if you're driving then within your maximum of 9 hours from Calais.
The apartment can sleep 6, 8 or even up to 10, so plenty of room for your family of 5.
You'll find our prices really competitive and depending upon the week you want to go, you could rent the apartment for as little as £450 for the week, leaving lots of money for ski hire, lift passes and some very nice meals in the local restaurants, all within the pedestrianised resort and just one or two minutes walk from the apartment.
As I say, Morillon 1100 is great for families and kids, and being 400m higher than the village of Morillon in the valley, provides skiing to your door throughout the season, that's why we bought there some 10 years ago.

Our 3 bedroom apartment is available from 6th to 13th February at £1050 to rent the apartment for the week or from 12th to 25th March at £650 to rent the apartment for the week.
It is in the unspoilt resort of Champagny en Vanoise, part of the La Plagne / Paradiski area in the French Alps. It is a very child friendly resort and our apartment is only 100 metres from the ski lifts and ski school meeting point.
It is just under 9 hours driving time from Calais although you will probably need a few stops on the way down with young chiildren.
We don't have a log fire or hot tub but plenty of other things to keep a family entertained.

Piste side location , ski back to the door and close to bars and restaurants, nursery slopes, and ski school.

There would be room for a put me up bed if needs be.
Sainte Foy is a Hidden Gem of a resort with skiing for everyone and perfect for families. Seldom any queues, quiet pistes and a lift pass for only 170 Euros for the week.
Val D'Isere , Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosiere are all close by if you want to ski a different Resort.

Val-Thorens is the highest Village in Europe (2350m high, 6550 fts high) in the biggest ski resort (Les trois-vallees).
apartments is newly renovated with a great kitchen.
Price vary from 800€ to 2400€ per week depending of the week.

Apartment Marquis is a spacious second floor apartment with 3 bedrooms and a large open-plan kitchenette/dining/sitting room. Location: Morzine | We have a beautiful two bedroom/two bathroom apartment which sleeps 4/5 people. It is part of Chalet La Savoyarde and has been furnished to a very high standard.
It has a double bedroom with its own ensuite. The triple bedroom on the lower ground floor is accessed by stairs lit with LEDs – it has a standard double bed with a single bunk. All the rooms have duck down duvets/pillows, orthopaedic mattresses, faux fur throws, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The main living area is open plan – very light and airy with French doors and two windows with amazing views over the Morzine valley.
The brand new kitchen is clean and modern with integrated fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.
The dining area has a large pine table and sits up to 6 people in comfort.
The lounge has a large corner sofa, a 32” TV, DVD player, UK channels, WiFi, iPod docking station and internet access. The cupboard is stocked with board games, DVDs and books
The second bathroom is just off the kitchen/dining area.
The apartment is private and secluded, has its own parking space and is accessed by its own steps. There is a secure ski locker just outside the door for easy ski storage.
It’s less than a 10 minute walk to the town centre and a 5 minute bus ride to all the main ski lifts in and around Morzine – the ski bus stops just outside the chalet.

To get here, take the train direct from Geneva Airport to Sion and the bus up to Nendaz, or drive to Sion on the motorway via Montreaux and 15 mins up the hill. Very straightforward.
Nendaz is a very family friendly resort with excellent wine bars, restuarants, bars and shops.
Ski schools are excellent (english speaking) and there is great apres-ski if you want it.

Location: Morzine | Dear Louise,
We have our self catered Penthouse in Morzine.
The Penthouse is located in the centre of Morzine with views of the church and the town square. This renovated 2 storey apartment has 4 bedrooms (1 double, 2 twins and 1 bunkbed room), 4 bathrooms, an open plan lounge and dining area with log fire, flat screen tv and dvd player, a fully equipped kitchen, plus ski locker and parking. This apartment also has free wi-fi internet.
Please note that we are able to assist with arranging any ski school, ski hire, lift pass and airport transfer requirements that you may have all in advance of your arrival date. We are just 1hr 15mins drive from Geneva.
Also note that we do have many other self catered apartments available all located in the centre of Morzine.

Location: La Plagne, Les Arcs, Paradiski | Hi Louise,
We are in a small friendly villages of Monchavin-Les Coches in La Plagne, Paradiski, France.
We have a couple of options with wood burning stoves. One in particular is a stones throw from the well being centre with pool, jacuzzi, sauna and massage suite.
Chalet Edelweiss has 4 ensuite bedrooms and is in the heart of the village, 120m from the chairlift and you can ski back to 50m from the chalet.
Chalet En Piste is right on the piste and is a lovely chalet.
Your dates are quite a wide range but just to let you know that the weeks either side of 6/2 and 5/3 are cheaper.
