| Hi. Fifth year of using chalets direct.
Looking for a good standard catered (probably) chalet in most likely France (or Austria?), with easy transfers from probably Geneva, but again others possible as flights not booked yet. Flight availability is important, obviously.
It's one adult and two well behaved boys, 13 and 15. Window is preferably arriving Sunday for 7 nights, but could be Saturday if opportunity is right. A sociable resort (but not a party town) with some non-ski facilities like a public swimming pool and skating would be good. In town/ village preferred as we tend to take time off some afternoons. We enjoyed the outdoor pool at Alp d'Huez. Sadly reasonable quality wifi seems to be a prerequisite these days...
Boys have skied for 5 years now, so happiest in a resort with blues and moderate reds, skiing back to resort preferable. Easy access to lifts. No ski school this year but do need to hire skis and boots.

Hi Geoff,
Thanks for your enquiry. We seem to have the perfect chalet in the Paradiski for your small group and we have one suite available for you. We are however full from Saturday the 25th but very happy if you wanted to ski on the 25th and come back to get changed and shoot off to the airport. You can arrive the 18th or 19th.
We are catered ( great food with superb reviews) , ski in, hot tub, sauna, near a pool and lots of activities in the lovely alpine village to do ! ( and playroom, library and as you say the compulsory access to the internet).
We organise passes and ski hire in house so you can get here and get out on the piste asap. 4 other sociable small groups here that week so promises to be a fun week.

Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The chalet sleeps up to 25 guests in 10 bedrooms. The Desmeuniere is a beautifully restored 18th Century Farmhouse with 8 ensuite bedrooms each with flat screen tv and dvd player. This luxury catered ski chalet boasts a spacious open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and vaulted ceilings, balconies with superb views, a second mezzanine lounge with media facilities, free wi-fi internet access (although due to the location of the chalet this can sometimes be a bit sporadic), a heated ski and boot room, a sauna, plus a sunken outdoor hot tub set in the stunning grounds. We provide a minibus service to and from the slopes each day plus the free ski bus which operates every 10 minutes stops just outside the chalet.
Your catered holiday includes your half board stay (cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes, pre-dinner drink and nibbles, plus 4 course evening meal with unlimited wine for 6 of your 7 night stay). We provide all bed linen, towels, bathrobes for adults, plus Occitane toiletries.

Chalet Alouette, in the pretty mountain town of Les Gets, is available for those dates. Les Gets is a beautiful alpine resort with some fantastic bars and restaurants and is just over an hour from Geneva.
This chalet has DIRECT access to the slopes via a little bridge which takes you straight to the ski pistes of the Perrieres. It’s also only a 10 minute walk to the town centre.

Chalet Gaillard has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 9 people. The living/dining area is open plan with great views up to Mont Vallon. After a hard day on the mountain you can sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine whilst you wait for a delicious dinner to be served.
It is situated close to the centre of Meribel Mottaret, with plenty of restaurants and bars. It’s a very short walk to the slopes and the nearest lift is about 300m away.
The Three Valleys has excellent ski-ing for all abilities. The Meribel Valley has great, well thought out beginner areas, a huge variety of blues and reds, and more challenging blacks and accessible off piste for the more experienced. There’s fast access to both Courchevel with its vast open pistes and interesting couloirs, and Val Thorens, known for its high snow sure slopes. Meribel also has a great sports centre with gym, pool, ice skating, bowling etc.
The price per person for 18 to 25 February is £700
We provide gourmet food starting the day with a hearty breakfast. On your return from the slopes there will be a homemade cake or biscuits for you to enjoy and the evening starts with canapés and cocktails followed by a relaxed and delicious 3 course meal with unlimited wine.
We can help you organise your ski lessons, lift passes, equipment hire and transfers if you wish as we have good links with the local providers.
