i am looking for a chef/cook job
I have grown up working in the hospitality industry from an early age, starting out as a kitchen porter in my busy seaside home-town and working my way up to where I am now, able to run a busy seasonal kitchen as a head chef. My cooking skills are not limited to one style and I can cover a range of fresh dishes. I spent 6 months travelling around Australia last year where I got to work with some great chefs who I learnt a lot from. I have put their tips to good use in my own cooking style. I am always looking to learn and improve my techniques as a chef; to step up my game even more and the only way to do that is learn from others so I enjoy working within a team, or on my own. I can work from a set menu or plan my own, whatever the position requires of me. I have had experience in working in open planned kitchens where I interact with diners and also have some waiting experience so speaking with guests would be fine. My French is limited but I will make some time to learn as much as I can before I head out and I’m sure I will pick it up along the way!! | At a glance:- You are looking for a job
