Chalets Direct Member
Location: Meribel | We are looking for motivated, exceptional people to join our team to provide an excellent levels of service to our guests. All our members of staff are trained to a high standard to ensure that our guests are well looked after and that our team members get sufficient mountain time.
Housekeeping Duties
Ensure that an excellent standard of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times in
the chalet, taking extra care in the bathrooms and kitchen.
• On changeover day change all linen and towels and thoroughly clean the chalet.
• Clean cooker and fridge
• Vacuum and mop all floors daily
• Make beds following company guidelines
• Clean all bathrooms thoroughly
• Set up and close down the chalet at the beginning and end of the season
• Snow clearing and salting
Cooking Duties
• On six days of the week prepare a cooked breakfast, afternoon tea & 3 course evening meal with wine.
• Prepare and serve two course children’s evening meal if there are children in the chalet
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained in the best possible condition.
Administration
• Prepare shopping lists and make sure that budgets are adhered to.
• Ensure sufficient wine and wood (if applicable) are available at all times.
• Ensure guests settle bills for any extras incurred during the holiday
Previous Experience
• Commercial catering experience preferable but not essential .
• Customer service experience
• Organisational skills
• Housekeeping/cleaning to a high standard.
Personal Qualities
• Outgoing, approachable, confident, responsible, friendly.
• Dynamic. Hardworking. Nothing is too much trouble attitude.
• Excellent social skills, able to interact well and create an ambience.
• High standards of personal hygiene/appearance.
