I am a 20 (will be 21 when working) year old university student looking for a job for the 2015/2016 winter season. Ideally would like to work within a Bar/Restaurant environment or as a Rep but am open to Chalet Host work.

I am communicative, conscientious and have a real sense of responsibility. I use my initiative at all times and am able to adapt and respond to changing situations. I have a good eye for detail and wish to pursue employment in people orientated environments as a result of my outgoing and confident attitude.

As my role at The National Citizen Service with The Challenge included both logistical and pastoral care I quickly improved my ability to transfer the skills I was using. This would also appear applicable to all jobs within your company in ensuring the smooth running of chalet and hotel environment whilst also caring and communicating with guests on a more personal level.

Moreover, my work within the kitchen at Bushey Grove Leisure Centre would be extremely useful within roles such as bar and restaurant work. My role included cooking basic meals, serving drinks, cleaning the kitchen and restocking. Whilst teaching me these basic skills I also enhanced my communication with customers, having short but friendly conversations, getting to know regulars, what they like and helping them enjoy their time there.

At university I have also learnt to be independent, thinking for myself at all times and organising my time efficiently to get all university work completed in time and to a very high standard, highlight by my current 2:1 average grade. Moreover, living in a house of ten people has taught me to work with others within a relatively confined space enhancing my social skills and, at times, my patience.

Many Thanks
