Chalet La Terrasse de Verchaix will be celebrating their 10th year in business in the French Alps. Originally an hotel and restaurant 2016/2017 will mark the opening of our newly converted luxury chalet. It will comprise of 5 en-suite rooms and sleep 10 adults and 5 children.
We are currently looking for an exceptional couple or two individuals for winter season 2016/2017.
You will be managing every aspect of the chalet to create a home from home experience for our guests. Welcoming, hosting, house-keeping and catering, you will maintain a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with a professional and genuinely customer focused approach every week of the winter.
As one half of the couple we are looking for a highly competent chef/cook who can brilliantly cook evening meals with a strong emphasis on taste, quality and presentation.
Successful applicants will:
• Be hard working and reliable
• Be experienced in producing high quality food
• Have excellent references and proven history in the catering trade
Be responsible for
• Ensuring guests have an amazing stay
• Cooking and serving breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals 6 nights of the week
• Keeping the kitchen and store cupboards/areas clean and ensuring food safety records are kept
• Shopping and ordering for food and other non-consumables
• Daily cleaning of public areas and guest rooms
• Deep clean on changeover day
