Great to see your post!
I need a chef :0) but no longer a host :0(. I am convinced that it is possible to pick up further work once in resort, especially cleaning and snow clearing but I cannot personally guarantee this.
We have been operating in Les Carroz (with hubby and children) since 1997 so have many contacts. The ski area is massif (known as the Grand Massif is the fourth largest in France) and Les Carroz is a fabulous intimate village with a true French spirit and flavour.
So if you are interested in cheffing in my chalet I am happy, subject to interview etc, to consider providing accommodation for the two of you.
