I am a professional chef and own and operate my traditional Savoyard chalet in the lovely, unspoiled village of Samoëns - about 1 hour from Geneva airport. Assistance with transfers. Parking in the chalet grounds. (Car is advisable for shopping/sightseeing). Samoëns, a 'Village Historique', is in the Giffre Valley of the Haute Savoie. Tthe many activities available include walking, cycling, parapente, Via Ferrata, climbing, rafting, canoeing/kayaking, Indiana Jones Adventure Park, and a swimming pool. * from Samoëns you have access to a large part of the Grand Massif. The Chalet is in a great place to explore the area and Chamonis, Annecy and Yvoire are all about an hours drive away, but there are lots of villages and towns to see on our doorstep. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a barbecue and outside table and chairs. The chalet has a lovely dining area and separate living area and there is a wooden conservatory on the first floor. a lovely place to read a book or enjoy a beer after a day of exploring.
