Location: Morzine | Hi Sim
We have ensuite twin rooms available in our B&B chalet in Morzine for those dates. Morzine is in the vast Portes du Soleil area which has 650 kms of linked piste. We are only a 5 minute flat walk from the Super Morzine bubble lift and town centre, but in a quiet area. We are also close to 2 free bus routes. One drops you right outside the Ardent telecabine to ski the Avoriaz, Chatel or Les Crosets areas, and the second will take you over to the Pleney in the centre of Morzine, to ski Morzine/Les Gets. We’re only 1 hour 20 minutes from Geneva airport and can organise your transfer from there if needed.
We can also help you organise your ski lessons, chalet delivery of ski equipment, and buy your passes in advance so that you can hit the slopes as soon as possible. | Dear Sim, maybe I have something for you. It is in Zermatt, about 2 1/2 hours from Geneva Airport and about 3 hours from Zurich airport. Best thing to introduce my appartment is the following guest review :
This is a dream of a chalet in the beautiful, quiet village of Winklematt just a 15 minute walk or short taxi or bus ride from the Zermatt train station. Despite the fact that it’s not in the center of Zermatt, there is a great restaurant, convenience store and playground for kids just outside the house and it is also a 5 minute walk to the Furi/Trockner Steg gondola with easy access to hiking or skiing. We were a group of 8 with two couples and four children and the 4 bedroom set-up was perfect for that.
The chalet itself is impeccably maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful furniture bed linens and touches that you only get in hotels like welcome fruits, coffee capsules and travel bottles of shampoo and soap in the bathrooms. The Sauna and laundry in the bat also add to the luxury touches.
What is not shown in the photos is the unobstructed view of the Matterhorn from the dining room, master bedroom and deck! The deck now has a folding table for breakfast or drinks which rounds out the perfection of the house.
This is a luxury vacation rental not just a home stay, and Marilyn was also extremely helpful and welcoming meeting us at the house on arrival and providing tips for travel and our wonderful stay in Zermatt.
I could not think of a better place to stay if you want a restful and quiet time Zermatt close to nature but not far from town.
The price would be SFr. 6500.--

Our apartment is free those dates in the Resort of Sainte Foy but close to Les Arcs, Val D'Isere and Tignes if you fancy skiing a different area.
On piste location close to bars and restaurants the apartment is large with 2 bedrooms sleeping 6.
Fantastic views, beautiful Alpine style and Decor.

At the centre of the Mont-Fort/Verbier and the 4 Valleys ski paradise, at 5000ft, is the town of Nendaz.
With 470kms of pisted runs catering for every ability and almost unlimited off-piste possibilities, including the world famous Tortin (search Tortin on google), there is an enormous amount of skiing to suit everyone.
We have a large external parking space and also a large internal garage
The resort sits on its own plateau overlooking the Rhone Valley and the busy town of Sion, with its castle and battlements.
To get here, take the train direct from Geneva Airport to Sion (2 hours) and the bus up to Nendaz, or drive to Sion on the motorway and 15 mins up the hill (1hr 45mins). Very straightforward.
Nendaz is a friendly resort with many restuarants and bars, large supermarkets (Co-op and Migros), bakers, butchers and loads of good quality sports, clothes and other shops.
The ski schools are excellent (english speaking) and there is great apres-ski if you want it.
