| We are a group of 6 - 2 children, parents and grandparents (adults all experienced) taking two small children (6 and 4) on their first ski holiday. 2 of the group will drive and would be looking for somewhere to stay for up to seven days before the arrival of the others. We are
looking for somewhere:
- within walking distance of nursery slopes (essential) and lifts
- within 2 hours of an airport (the driving party will pick up the others at the airport)
- has parking
- close to a supermarket/shops
Haute Savoie preferred but other areas would be of interest (particluarly Saalbach-Hinterglemm)

Location: Courchevel & La Tania, Three Valleys | As an alternative, I would like to offer Chalet Les Clocherets in Courchevel Le Praz; Ideal for small groups this lovely well-furnished barn conversion, this property is set in a quiet side street with easy access to the lifts and slopes. There are three ensuite double/twin rooms, A well-equipped chalet with TV,DVD player and free Wi-Fi. Clocherets is available Saturday-Saturday week commencing 5th March for 1950€ with an additional end of stay cleaning charge of 85€ payable locally.
Although Clocherets is in the lower village of Le Praz 1300 I can assure you that the links between the higher parts of resort are very quick and reliable. There are two lifts out of Le Praz, the gondola which goes straight to the ski school meeting point in 1850 (beginners area) and the new foret chair going over to La Tania improving the links between the full three Valleys ski area. There is also a free regular shuttle bus service operating throughout the whole resort.

We have a self catered, 2 bedroom apartment which sleeps up to 6 in Morzine. If you want more space you could use a B&B room too. Morzine is in the vast Portes du Soleil area which has 650 kms of linked piste and we are just 5 minutes walk from the Super Morzine bubble lift and the town centre. We are also close to 2 free bus routes. One drops you right outside the telecabine to ski the Avoriaz, Chatel or Les Crosets areas, and the second will take you over to the Pleney in the centre of Morzine, to ski Morzine/Les Gets. The apartment has 2 twin rooms, a sofa bed in the lounge, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. The kitchen has a small electric hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Our 3 bedroom apartment is available from 12th March 2016, it costs £650 to rent the apartment, with linen, towels and final cleaning for 6 people it would be £772 for the week.
The apartment is ideally situated, just 100 metres from the gondola which takes you up to the main skiing area at 2000 metres. The younger childrens nursery area is at the bottom of the gondola as is the ski school and lift pass office.
We are in the lovely, family friendly village of Champagny en Vanoise which is the most scenic and original village in the La Plagne / Paradiski area.
There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the apartment.
It is also only a 20 minute drive to Courchevel and the three valleys if you fancy a day out there.
It is just over 1.25 hours from Chambery airport and around a 2 hour drive from Geneva, Grenoble or Lyon airports and we can help you with all your transport arrangements.

Secret Alps has been used most successfully by multi-generational families in the past. It suits well.
We have private parking at the door and travel from GVA is easy by train to Sion then by road up to Nendaz.

We have a gorgeous and spacious self-catered apartment in Argentiere Village in the Chamonix Valley from Sunday 6th March. It's in a great spot just a 5-minute walk to the ski lifts and slopes, and from the village shops,bars and restaurants. The fantastic Panda CLub is located here - children can take lessons in the special snow garden for just mornings, afternoons or all day with lunch.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms, free wifi, separate loft den with Sky TV and DVD player, and access to the huge terrace and hot tub shared with our other apartment - http://www.adventurebase.com/apartment-melee-le-deuixieme-ligne/.
The price for that week is £2,154 self-catered, and this includes linen/towels, end of stay cleaning and local holiday taxes so there's nothing to add on top.

We have availability in our lovely apartment,Les Mitoulets, for the dates you require? The apartment which spreads over 2 floors is very spacious, light and would be ideal for a group of your size.
Les Mitoulets is in a great location with amazing unrestricted views of Morzine and the mountains. It is just a few minutes walk to the centre and all the amenities, including an abundance of restaurants, shops and bars, plus a supermarket within 200m. The two main lifts leading to Avoriaz and Les Gets are also just a few minutes walk, and experienced skiers be able to ski back to within 105m of the property. The free ski bus also stops close by, which connects to the all lift stations in the area.

This is a large luxury chalet about 2 hours drive from Geneva airport and 10 mins drive from St Martin de Belleville ski lifts which links to the 3 Valleys ski domain. St Martin de Belleville is a very family friendly resort offering miniclubs and ski schools. St Martin de Belleville offers a large variety of activities (dog sledging, shows, ...) for children and adults alike to make the children first ski experience memorable.
You can booked for sole occupancy on a self catered basis for €3,000 per week which includes the end of the week clean.

We have a large external parking space and also a large internal garage
The resort sits on its own plateau overlooking the Rhone Valley and the busy town of Sion, with its castle and battlements.
To get here, take the train direct from Geneva Airport to Sion (2 hours) and the bus up to Nendaz, or drive to Sion on the motorway and 15 mins up the hill (1hr 45mins). Very straightforward.
Nendaz is a friendly resort with many restuarants and bars, large supermarkets (Co-op and Migros), bakers, butchers and loads of good quality sports, clothes and other shops.
The ski schools are excellent (english speaking) and there is great apres-ski if you want it.
