We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented HEAD CHEF to run our kitchen at Hotel La Roz in La Rosiere 1850, a fabulous ski resort on the French/Italian border. Our successful candidate will have excellent references and will be able to comfortably cater for 13 staff and up to 64 guests on a fixed menu for 5 months. You will probably love winter sports as much as you love running a busy kitchen.
You must have commercial cooking experience, especially in hotels & preferably up to Head Chef level (minimum Senior Sous Chef). Full knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislation, HACCP, COSHH & Stock Control methods. Experience training & leading a team of chefs.
We employ a vibrant UK staffed team in our hotel. In addition to a high level of competency, a warm and friendly management style, the ability to mix with our guests is essential. Control of the kitchen, restaurant, menu and budget will be your responsibility as well as managing and leading a team in a fun and lively environment. We offer a great package to the successful candidate.
We provide at least 5 days slope time, comfortable accommodation and a buzzing working environment with a likeminded fun loving but professional team.

We offer an excellent pay package including holiday pay, season lift pass, equipment hire, end of season bonus, medical insurance, meals, accommodation and organised travel to/from France. Start dates are beginning December – end April.
