Hi there,
We are looking for a chalet chef/cook available to start immediately and work until the end of the season in a catered chalet in Chamonix, cooking for up to 14 people. You should be confident preparing delicious, gastro-pub type meals with a focus on great combination of tastes that are well-presented and within a budget.
Responsibilities include:
• Cooked breakfasts (eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes etc)
• Afternoon cakes (occasional birthday cake)
• Kids / vegetarian meals (when required)
• Pre-dinner canapés
• Three-course dinners
• Staff meals
• Keeping kitchen spotless at all times
• Stock rotation
• Helping with changeovers on any changeover days
• Weekly shop and budget management
Package includes a competitive salary, spacious accommodation and food, ski/snowboard hire, local ski pass, “off the mountain rescue” insurance.
