Location: Samoens, French Alps | Alps Accommodation are a leading luxury accommodation provider, looking for a talented couple for this winter, which could lead into a summer season/potentially longer term. The positions are initially on a part time basis, ideal for a couple wanting to have as much mountain time as possible, yet with accommodation and a small wage provided.
Based on-site at our largest self catered chalet, the role entails all elements of chalet management including cleaning, maintenance and providing an excellent service to the guests. The chalet is offered as a self catered unit. There is also responsibility for managing a further self catered chalet in resort. This includes: Creating a welcoming and friendly holiday environment at the guest check in. Responsibility for the full weekend changeover of the chalet units, to include cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, making beds and cleaning windows and communal areas. Full management of swim spa/hot tubs. Daily maintenance duties from fixing door handles to clearing snow in winter, stacking logs, and gardening in summer. Laundering and ironing linens ready for changeover days. 24/7 contact for guests arriving and during their stay.
You should be happy getting your hands dirty as cleaning is the main part of the role. We are looking for people with exceptional attention to detail, passion and energy, strong customer service skills, flexibility, a positive attitude, and the desire to go the extra mile. A conversational level of French would be required as we greet many French guests. Basic maintenance experience required for at least one of you.
