I'm looking at planning Christmas 2016 and going with the extended family skiing. We will total 21, comprising:
7 middle aged adults
4 parentals
5 teenagers
5 between 5 and 10
Most of the skiers will be beginner (not quite never ever as I'll sort that out before we go) to middle intermediate, so require a resort with plenty of suitable terrain for that experience group. Re accommodation ideally would like exclusive use of a catered type chalet.
My request on here is two fold:
1) Resort recommendations
2) Accommodation recommendations
3) Transfer options for a group that size

Location: La Plagne | Our friendly chalet-hotel is right next to the slopes and we can offer you this season's price for early booking for the Christmas week. The price for half board accommodation will be £569 per person in twin rooms. Quad/family rooms are 2 x £569 and 2 x £285. All rooms are en suite.
Half board comprises of breakfast, afternoon tea and 3 course evening meals with complimentary wine every day, not like in some chalets where it is only offered on
6 days a week.
We are in a superb location at high altitude, right next to the slopes and two chair lifts in Plagne 1800 in the heart of the Paradiski area. Centrally located within the village, we are close to amenities and just across the street from the ski school meeting point where ski instructors English speaking instructors are available.

Our family run catered chalet can offer your group of 21 a week with sole occupancy from the 19th December and our price would be £11,000 which includes accommodation, breakfast, afternoon tea and delicious three course feasts with selected wines on six nights out of seven, mulled wine and mincemeat pies around a roaring log fire on Christmas eve to start the celebrations, Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. We can also offer an earlier two course children's menu if required.
There’s a large comfy lounge with open log fire, honesty bar, sat tv, dvd, hifi, wifi should you need to keep in touch, games room with table tennis, air hockey, den with Wii, plenty off road parking or transfers can be arranged from Geneva, just 75 minutes at the rate of around 60€ per person return Geneva.

At this moment we have availability in Christmas week (19-26Dec.) in our chalet La Petitta. This is a comfortable and big chalet suited for 26pers maximum. It is located in the center of the small town Jouvenceaux (1200 m), 1500 m from lively Sauze d’Oulx in the Via Lattea ski resort (sestriere).
In total there are 3 floors with 8 bedrooms. Every floor has its own entrance which gives you privacy, the cave (restaurant) makes it a great chalet for groups as well. There are 3 double rooms, 1 triple room, 2 familyrooms for 3 or 4 people, 1 familyroom for 5 and 1 familyroom for 6 people. All rooms are decorated differently, and all bedrooms are ensuite. The double also be made into 2 singles beds. The entrance to the restaurant is on the outside. (6-8 meter). It is located at 150m from the skilift and blue slope.
