| Hello, we are a group of 6 adults and 4 teenagers and are looking for a catered or self catered holiday in the 3 Valleys at Christmas 2015 (19-26 or 20-27). Our ideal criteria are:
Close to lifts, and fairly high / snowsure
Quiet resort but ideally able to walk to amenities such as shops.We would prefer a village with character if possible.
We would like a hot tub or pool and anything that appeals to teenagers!
Our budget is £3000 for a self catered property (ie just rental costs)or £500 per head for a catered property (excluding travel in both cases)
We are flexible about travel to and from, but may try and take the train, so we need to be easily accessible from Bourg St Maurice.
I realise we won't get all these criteria as there are far too many, but any ideas would be welcome.

Can meet the budget and you could take the train to Lyon or Grenoble if the train is ideal.

We have availability in our gorgeous 6 bedroom chalet, with hot tub and wood burning stove, in the very pretty resort of Valmorel, just 20 minutes from Moutiers. You can read about it here http://winter.adventuresinthealps.com/chalet-valmorel/
The chalet, run by a Chef and Host, has a beautiful open plan living / dining area with wood burning stove, TV/DVD and WIFI, and a snug. There is a hot tub, garden, and a boot room. It is 5 minutes walk to the ski lift (and you can ski in) but we do offer a drop off service mornings and evenings. Our food and service is to an excellent standard.
Valmorel is fantastic for skiing, with 168km for all abilities, there is some independent information here http://www.powderbeds.com/france/valmorel/skiing-guide There are also many activities to do as well as skiing, including paragliding, cross country skiing and spa treatments in the chalet. Plus there are great bars and restaurants in the town for apres-ski.
For your dates, the price is £4500 for sole occupancy, to include airport transfers in private vehicles.

This chalet is for a minimum of 14 persons, therefore we charge 14 persons. Another option is Chalet Grand Pares in Val d'Isere. This chalet is for a mininum of 12 persons.
The prices for the chalets are EUR 875,00 per person per week. Please note, for Chalet Dame Blanche we charge for a minimum of 14 person and for Chalet Grand Pares we charge a minimum of 12 persons.

Located just 200 m from the ski lifts which connects effortlessly to the Three Valleys ski circuit, its just 4 minutes walk and our driver service between the chalet and the slopes prevent you from carrying your skis.

We are based in Les Gets where we have had yet another fantastic season snow wise. We are still skiing every day and will be very disappointed to see the lifts close this weekend.
I note you would prefer to stay in the 3 valleys (where we have worked a season) however, if you have never stayed in Les Gets I must say that you should check it out. It is a really traditional and characterful French village and our chalet is both ski-in / ski-out and yet only a 3 minute walk to the centre of town. You can see a bit more about Les Gets here http://snowsituations.co.uk/les-gets/ Les Gets is one of the nicest towns in France, with high end restaurants to top quality reasonably priced real burger bars. Sy bars to a night club open until 6am!!
Flights to Geneva are pretty cheap at the moment and we can arrange transfers for £50 per person return.
What will appeal to your teenagers is, I believe, the town itself; the ski-in / ski-out location; the park and also our accompanied ski sessions.
We come in at £5,100 for your week with our early booking discount but we can do this week for £5,000 to match your budget.

Chalet de Belleville is tucked away in the charming mountain village of Villarly, St Jean de Belleville and is close to the typical French restaurant and cafe. Rental car is essential.
It will take you 20mn by train to go from Bourg St Maurice to Moutiers (the nearest train station) and then 15mn drive from Moutiers to the chalet.
Our Chalet is about 10mn drive from St Martin de Belleville ski lifts, which links to the 3 Valleys ski domain.
In brief, the chalet is laid out over 3 floors and includes 5 double rooms (mix of double beds and twin beds), 4 bathrooms (2 of them are ensuite), a cinema room, a lounge with a wood burner, a snug, a dining room for up to 14 guests, a terrace, free WIFI throughout the property and parking off road for up to 3 cars in addition to the garage.
The week is £3,000 on a sole occupation, self catered basis and includes the end of the week cleaning, linen and logs.
