Location: Morzine, Portes du Soleil, French Alps | Office/Resort Manager (to cover compassionate leave for the foreseeable future at present)
Based in our office in Morzine the job is varied but interesting and there is the opportunity to learn a great deal. General day to day duties are:-
· Answering emails for holiday enquiries on a timely basis
· Responding to emails from existing bookings
· Dealing with requests from property owners, property checks, scheduling maintenance
· Bookings, invoicing and checking payments
· Meet and greet of clients (in season)
· Scheduling of cleaning and managing cleaning staff (in season) - organisation of laundry, cleaning in the summer season
· Scheduling of transfers (in season) - possibility of some transfers especially in the summer
· And much more……
This is a full time position. Hours are approx. 17hr per week during the interseason and 35+hr per week July/Aug and November till March/April.
The role is on a French contract. We are looking for someone who has the following attributes:-
· Good communicator - both written and verbal
· Attention to detail
· Office/administration experience
· Proven organisational ability - ability to multitask and be forward thinking
· Reasonable conversational and written French
· Excellent general IT skills – Mac use an advantage
· Full clean manual driving licence - also advantage if registered already for driving passengers in Switzerland
· European passport
You will need to be preferably living in Morzine/Montriond and ideally have your own transport (fuel allowance given). A vehicle is provided for work related use if needed.
We provide a monthly salary, holiday pay and winter ski pass and summer multipass.
