We are both chefs in Crete during the summer season so you will be well fed.
The pretty mountain village of le grand bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from, the telecabine to the slopes is just the other side of the village centre. Le grand bornand is only an hour from geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike. We are quite happy to organise transfers for you, reduced ski hire, and can organise lessons, and ski schools with enough notice. It's your holiday and we are happy to help you as much as we can.

My wife Ann & I live in, own, & manage La vieille Ferme, our home & a beautifully renovated Haute-Savoie Farmhouse in Vallon d'en Haut, Samoens, the only “listed” Alpine station de ski in France, which is part of the 265 kms of the Grand Massif ski area, 60 mins from Geneva. The Farmhouse is on the ski bus run, which takes 5 mins to the new Telecabine & town centre & I can offer daily lift transfers.

We are a family run property, Ann, myself, our daughter Bethan & her chef husband Lukasz. All meals are eaten in our farmhouse kitchen next to the Aga and the open log fire. The Grand Massif offers an excellent snow record & a huge variety of skiing from 1600m – 2550m, ranging from gentle beginners to reds, blacks & off-piste, with an exceptional snow record. We can help organise Transfers, 60 mins from Geneva, equipment hire, ski lessons, guiding, ski passes, with WiFi & our hot tub being available for Fully catered guests over 16 yrs before your evening meal. We have availability in our gorgeous 6 bedroom chalet, with hot tub and wood burning stove, in the very pretty resort of Valmorel, just 1hr45 from Geneva. You can read about it here http://winter.adventuresinthealps.com/chalet-valmorel/
The chalet, run by a Cook and Host, has a beautiful open plan living / dining area with wood burning stove, TV/DVD and WIFI, and a snug. There is a hot tub, garden, and boot driers / heaters. It is 5 minutes walk to the ski lift (and you can ski in) but we do offer a drop off service mornings and evenings. Our food and service is to an excellent standard.
Valmorel is fantastic for skiing, with 168km for all abilities, there is some independent information here http://www.powderbeds.com/france/valmorel/skiing-guide There are also many activities to do as well as skiing, including paragliding, cross country skiing and spa treatments in the chalet. Plus there are great bars and restaurants in the town for apres-ski.
For your dates, 30th Jan to 5th Feb, the price is £375pp, to include airport transfers in private vehicles.
For fully catered packages, we provide the following services

I can offer catered chalet accommodation in the 3 Valleys. I have 2 options available as follows:
Sat 30 Jan - Wed 3 Feb
Chalet Tania sleeps up to 9 in 4 ensuite bedrooms. It has a comfortable open plan lounge and dining area with log fireplace and great views. The chalet has wifi internet and is conveniently located approx 100m from the piste and village centre. £320 per person for 4 nights in 2 rooms.
Flexible stay between Sat 30 Jan - 6 Feb
Chalet Martin in Meribel Le Raffort. Sleeps 12 in 6 bedrooms/4 bathrooms. It is comfortable and spacious with large lounge, log fireplace, plenty of comfy seating and great views. Alhtough it is normally possible to ski back to the village, we do also offer a minibus shuttle in the mornings and at the end of the skiing day.
£475 pp for the week or £75 per person per night for short breaks in 2 rooms sharing 1 bathroom.
The above prices will include:
breakfast & afternoon tea each day
4 course evening meals with wine (except on Wednesdays)
Discounted equipment hire and lift passes can be arranged as can airport transfers (subject to availability)

Can also do a return transfer Geneva Airport (65mins)for £60pp .We are close to piste and virtually ski in and ski out your dates..We link to the Grand massif ski area with over 265 kms of piste to suit all abilities . Our chalet has been fully refurbed to a high spec is in a superb location and we are relaxed and informal .Chill by the fire with a nice drink . We offer good food and wine .
