| Hi! We are 2 families looking for a comfortable chalet for 4 or 5 nights starting 16th (arriving late) or 17th. Total of 7 adults (including 3 brothers 18,20,and 22 who can share), 2 small children 7 and 3 (who will ideally share with parents) and an 8 month old baby (so 10 in total including baby). Looking for somewhere within easy transfer of Geneva and within walking/ski bus distance to non skiing facilities as 3 of the adults and the 3 year old won't be skiing. Skiers would like to have snow so high resorts (or easy access to high resorts) preferred Really hoping for a magical festive atmosphere for the little ones. Many thanks for your help

We have a few chalets on offer for some or all of your required dates.
The highest based chalet is Chanterelle in Plagne 1800 so you should be able to ski back to about 100m of the chalet - even if the snow is dodgy, you should get fairly close.
The free bus service will take non skiers up to Plagne Centre and the other resorts in La Plagne to meet you for lunch or ice skate etc.
You would have this chalet to yourselves but only until 20th - !! You are welcome to arrive a day earlier if you prefer - price is £1500 catered for the chalet
Next the three other chalets are in Peisey, Les Arcs - our guests last season had no problem skiing at Xmas - they made snow down to the bottom of the first chairlift so you could get back so although it is based lower it has access to high skiing very quickly!

Chalet Chamois - 16th - 21st £300 per adult £200 per child
Chalet Nancroix - 16th - 21st £275 per adult £200 per child
The village is very festive at this time of the year plus there is a free bus to go to the end of the valley where they have reindeer sleigh rides!
There are husky rides too. The first lift from the village is a stand up type and is free - you can access lots of shops and restaurants via this lift so can meet the others for lunch.
We also offer discounted lift passes and réductions on ski hire.

Location: Samoëns | We can offer sole occupancy of our newly built catered chalet, with outdoor hot tub, from 16 or 17th December.
There's 5 ensuite bedrooms, with 4 of them being easy triples/quads. We can move double/single beds around according to group make-up. They’re all proper kings/doubles/single beds - not a bunkbed in sight.
We're an hour from Geneva (transfers can be easily booked online at www.gomassif.com). And its just 3 minutes to any of the local lifts in our shuttle bus (all included). The ski area is the Grand Massif - 265km of awesome skiing - both in the villages and up in the high Flaine bowl (reached on the lifts from Samoens).
Our food is more Jamie Oliver than fine dining, the style is relaxed, and of course wine is included. And more often than not, there's a tot of single malt in the coffee too. Catered service includes breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee/cake, and a 3 course dinner in the evening. We can do earlier children's dinner if you'd like it.
We're just a 5 minute walk to the village of Morillon, or 5-10 minutes on the free ski-bus into the bigger Samoens. Samoens has lovely shopping, cafes/bars, ice-skating, botanical garden & spa facilities - so good for any non-skiers.
We'll be putting the Christmas decorations up that week - maybe the kids would like to make decorations with me and do the tree? I'm planning on spray painting pine cones and other crafty projects!
The price for sole occupancy would be €6,500 for 4 nights or €7,000 for 5 nights.

Our Chalet is located in Les Gets and can accommodate up to 14, and so can easily accommodate your group. We are at 1440 meters and you can ski back to the Chalet. We are both walking distance to lift and village centre, and also the ski bus stops just outside the chalet. We have 5 bedrooms, and 2 separate lounges, which is brilliant for the teenagers. We also have Sauna, Wifi, Sky, heated boot room and everything you need for a festive ski week.
