Location: Samoens 1600, The Grand Massif | Hi Carolyn,
Our chalet might suite your family's requirements really well, as we're a 60 minute drive from Geneva airport in the resort of the Grand Massif which is a very French resort and a lovely place to stay around Christmas. We're based just below Samoens 1600, not in the actual village, so we can get the skiers up to the piste very quickly in the morning, and the non-skiers would need to take the gondola lift down into Samoens village, or we can do drop offs at the ski bus stop in Vercland.
We can offer you a large family suite for the brothers, another large family suite for the adults with 2 children, and a double with cot for the adults with baby. All rooms are enuite.
Price wise, we'd normally charge 550 Euros per adult for a week and 450 Euros per child, with the baby on a flat rate of 100 euros which would be 4850 Euros. However, since you're looking for just 5 nights, we can offer you a 20% discount on that which would be 3880 Euros.

Location: La Combe, St Martin de Belleville, 3 Valleys | Dear Carolyn,
I can offer 5 en-suite bedrooms - 1 double and 4 twins, so I think this could work well for you. Bedlinen and towels are supplied - beds are made up for your arrival. The house is our home when we are in France so rather than just being furnished for rental, it is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay.
Just two hours from Geneva, the house is situated in a traditional Savoyard hamlet called La Combe, a short 5-6 minute drive from St Martin de Belleville. There is private parking at the house and the car park at St Martin is just opposite the bubble lift.
St Martin provides access to the whole 3 Valleys area, including Val Thorens which is the highest resort in Europe and very snow sure with skiing up to 3230M.
So I cannot offer quite such easy access to nonskiing facilities as you seek, but the drive is very short and easy so that may not be such an issue for you, as it has never been for my nonskiing wife.
For relaxing after a hard day's skiing we have a large, comfortable sitting area, arranged round a wood burner/TV/DVD, large dining area and a fully-equipped modern kitchen with French range cooker - all on one floor so a great social space for a large group. Full height glass doors and a balcony run along the length of this floor looking south.
The self-catered price for the whole week 17th to 24th is €1,700 so you can arrive / depart at your convenience.

Top lifts at 3300m, ensuring excellent early season conditions.
Even when many lifts in PDS were not open last Christmas, we could ski into the resort from Mid Dec.

The resort
