De La Terre is a small independent company providing chefs and catering services based in Samoens Ski resort within the Grand Massif mountains.
We have steadily grown our business over the last 5 seasons and now are looking for a talented chef/cook to join our us for this coming winter season (start beginning Dec to the end of April).
We are looking for exceptional, hard working people that can help us take our business to that next level and build on our already existing reputation of providing great service and home cooked food.
We require a team member this year who will be responsible for our professional kitchen and food orders. We are looking for somebody that has catering and hosting experience as we also provide a chef service to chalets in the area.
Due to the nature of the business the work is very varied and can be flexible but this applicant will need to be able to work alone as well as within a team, be hard working and responsible as they will be preparing and cooking meals in a fully functional professional kitchen ready for deliveries, catering and hosting for clients within their accommodation.
Own transport is preferable and some French language would be an advantage but not essential.
The positions are very hands on position and we need people that are not afraid to work independently or as a team. We are a progressive company and are looking for people with lots of energy.
We know our team plays a vital role, so they will be hand picked based on their skills, experience and attitude and thus rewarded with 2 days off a week, accommodation, season ski pass, weekly wage and given plenty of time off to enjoy the mountain and season life.
