Chalet Dolomites
Dolomites is in the buzzing traditional village of La Plagne Montchavin in a great location at the foot of the piste and in the centre of the village with easy access for all amenities, including the recently opened swimming pool and aqua-centre. The property sleeps 8-11 people in four bedrooms of various layouts over three floors – each bedroom has private shower and washbasin facilities and there is a WC on each floor. There is also a hot-tub on the balcony which faces south, overlooking the piste and the ski school snow garden. We have two wonderful swimming pools and spa areas less than 10 minutes away and it is very easy here for non skiers to meet up with skiers and we have an excellent ski school with English and English speaking instructors. We have had excellent results for all our English families; reviews can be found on trip advisor.
We are part of the Lungo ski area which has 4 ski areas, all high and snow sure. Fanningberg is perfect for families and mixed abilities, with lovely long wide, crowd free slopes and lots of mountain restaurants to meet up at. Non skiers can use the chair lift to access those at the top as well as those at the base of the slopes. We will help organise equipment, lessons, passes etc. and will provide a chauffer service for skiers and non skier.
This is a very traditional and friendly part of Austria and food and drink prices are very reasonable where ever you go.
Chalet Gove is our converted farmhouse, very spacious with lots of room for everyone to relax in. Our lounge has really comfortable seating, TV with media centre (lots of music and films) and we also have English TV.

Our chalet is stylish and decorated with charm. It offers lots of privacy for a group and is very comfortable and cosy for the non skiers.
Wonderful terraces to relax with stunning mountain views with comfortable seats to relax even more.If it is necessary to stay in site you can enjoy the same marvelous view from your comfy couch in front of the wood stove.
For the skiers the Grand Rousses ski area offers everybody fantastic slopes, from easy green to blue, red and black. With a mighty vertical of 2230 meters without taking any lift and the longest black slope of Europe of 17km.
Everybody can meet for a delicious lunch at Alpette ( first station) where the non skiers can go for having a wonderful walk and meet up with the skiers in one of the cosy restaurants.
Vaujany has a very good ESF skischool (English spoken) and a private skischool where English is also no problem!

Location: Zermatt | Have you considered Zermatt?
Dominated by the iconic Matterhorn and with Europe's highest pistes (over 3800m!!), it has a big international ski area.
As a year-round mountain destination, it's an unbeatable place for non-skiers with lots to do and the lunch capital of the Alps with many of the mountain restaurants accessible by pedestrians.
What's more, we have a chalet there with its own private 10m swimming pool as well as a sauna and equipped gym. It's also equipped for people with limited mobility with its own internal lift.
Problem is that although it's a very big place, it only has three ensuite bedrooms, two doubles and a sort of kids room which sleeps 4 which is fine but the 18 year old may not want to sleep with the younger children. We can however organise additional accommodation some 50m away.
