| Hi, I am trying to book Christmas 2024 holidays in France. Initially was considering Les Gets but was recommended against it due to its (lower) altitude-->picked Avoriaz.
Looking for a *catered chalet* for 10 people - 4 adults and 6 children (15,14,11,9,7 and 6)
Family friendly, ski-in - ski-out is a must.
Hot tub is a plus.
(will also consider Arc 1950 but likely need to start another thread for that one.) Thank you so much in advance.

We have a great chalet for the 10 of you Chalet Grande Ourse in Samoens and have availability 22nd - 29th December 2024. This is a fantastic chalet with its own hot tub and you would have exclusive use. Full details can be seen on our website www.geeski.co.uk
Samoens is a great traditional village and the lively centre is around 5 minutes walk from the chalet. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif and gives access to a great range of skiing (265km) up to 2500m height. The lift from the village takes you to 1600m were the ski schools meet and the skiing begins with links to Morillon, Les Carroz and Flaine.
Its not Avoriaz but with ski schools at 1600m and access to Flaine it is a great snow sure area and would be great for your group.
The price would be £8,740 for exclusive use. This includes
Flexible private transfers within resort each day to and from the lift stations
Breakfast including hot option
Afternoon Tea
Childrens meals (if required)
Prosecco and canapes
4 course dinner with wine (6 days including festive menu)
Transfers from Geneva (1 hour away) can be arranged with our partners and would be passed on at cost.
We can also offer Chalet Marie Stuart in Samoens on the same basis and price.

Over 265 kms of runs, Samoens ski area is directly linked with Flaine offering skiing from 1600m to 2500m. The lowest cross over point from Samoens to Flaine is 1844m. Samoens is also linked directly with Morillon and Les Carroz
Chalet Giffre is owner run and has a great location in Samoens located between the gondola and church square, so you're not dependent on transport after your days skiing, the village is on your doorstep.
The chalet offers 5 bedrooms with en suite shower and wc. Sleeping 10.
Spacious open plan dining and lounge area with central fireplace and traditional wooden beams.
Our private mini bus service provides transport between the chalet and gondola just 400m in under a minute or the public ski bus stops across the road.
7 nights catering includes.
6 days 3 course evening meals plus cheese board and port.
Breakfast each day with cooked options on 5 mornings.
Afternoon Tea and cakes.
Wine, beers and a well stocked complimentary bar for those who prefer a few G&Ts.

Thanks for your enquiry. We do have the stunning Piste Noire available - although not ski in ski out it is very very central and 1 lift to Avoriaz
Piste Noire is a brand new chalet apartment situated in the heart of Morzine and within walking distance of bars, restaurants and ski lifts alike. This beautiful new build boasts 4 spacious bedrooms, a stunning open plan living and kitchen area, and a large terrace complete with a hot tub to soothe those aching muscles after a full day on the slopes.
The location of Piste Noire really is perfect for access to both the Morzine / Les Gets and full Portes Du Soleil ski areas. The Pleney lift is less than 100m from the front door, and the Super Morzine lift is only a 7 minute walk. There is also a bus stop on the main road right by the apartment so you have the possibility of getting the bus to the Ardent or Prodains lifts if you prefer an alternative route up to Avoriaz. The central location also means that the majority of the fantastic bars and restaurants that make up Morzines town centre are right on your doorstep.
This chalet is a catered chalet, meaning you will enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and 3 course meals whilst on holiday with us. We’ve spent many years perfecting our menu and employ only the best hosts to deliver it!
