About Alps Accommodation
- Set in the heart of the Grand Massif mountain region, just an hour from Geneva, Samoens is a spectacular 17th century French mountain resort with over 260km of piste.
- The accommodation offers the flexibility of either 5, 8 or 10 stylish ensuite bedrooms, recently refurbished throughout.
- Situated just 300m flat walk from the historic square of Samoens with its cafes, shops and restaurants.
- Swim spa/Jacuzzi with 6 seats at one end and 4 powerful swim jets at the other which supply an adjustable current for everything from low-impact aqua aerobics to a challenging straight-line swim.
- The property has a great sized lounge area with 4 big comfy sofas, large flat screen TV, satellite, DVDs, high spec stero with iPod connector, playstation, games, books and board games. There is also free wireless Internet access throughout the chalet.
- The chalet has a large sunny garden with a shaded eating areas, sunny terraces a BBQ. There is 3 covered parking spaces with further private parking.
- The 5 bedroom 5 bathroom chalet sleeping 12 can be opened up internally with a further 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms sleeping up to 20 people. Also next door is "The Mazot" offering 2 further ensuite bedrooms for 5 people. Therefore ideal for up to 25 people!
- For catered groups, we can provide a 3/4 course meal 5 nights with free wine and beer together with a continental/cooked breakfast each morning.
- For self catered guests all linen is provided together with a welcome essentials hamper. All guests receive Molton Brown toiletries.
Accommodation:
- 5 double or twin rooms, all have en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms. Extra beds can be added if required.
- Further 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, with lounge/diner - can be booked separately or as part of whole chalet.
- Another 2 ensuite bedrooms in "The Mazot" next door, for a further 5 people.
- Open log fire and spaciuos lounge and dining area, games, music, TV and DVDs supplied.
- Ample parking and a large private garden- ideal in the summer for enjoying breakfast on the terrace or a barbeque in the evening.
- for self-catered guests, use of fully equipped kitchens.
Cuisine:
Food and drink
- For catered guests staying at Chalet Moccand we provide a continental and cooked breakfast each day and 3/4 course evening meals on 5 selected nights. We hope you will enjoy the relaxed and informal atmosphere which we create in our chalet, complemented by our freshly prepared hearty meals. Our French wines are specially selected from various wine tasting trips and soft drinks can also be provided within the price throughout the meal. A separate children's tea can be served on request and vegetarian and special dietary needs are catered for.
- On the alternative nights you have the opportunity to dine out and sample Samoens selection of restaurants, which we will gladly pre book for you. These range from Pizzerias to Savoyard to gourmet.

End of stay cleaning is included in our prices. Electricity, water and heating are in with the price as well as plenty of logs for the fire.
- Fresh bread and croissants can be delivered each morning for a small additional charge.
