  • Chalet Amaryllis is a charming old Alpine chalet, sitting just off the market square, in the enchanting medieval town of Samoens.
  • From this unique position all the amenities that the town has to offer are only metres away, and just an 8 minute stroll, or brief mini bus ride from the lift that launches you into the Grand Massif.
  • Chalet Amaryllis and its wonderfully relaxed atmosphere can cater for groups of up to 14 in 5 ensuite bedrooms in Summer and Winter.
  • With a double height sitting and dining room and a huge pictue window with views over the surrounding mountains and hot tub on the balcony, the setting is fantastic!

  • It is owned by your hosts Mark and Victoria, who are passionate about good food, and the 'alpine experience' and will help tailor make your holiday to suit.
  • Fully catered in the Winter, bed and breakfast, or self catered in the summer.
  • Only an hour from Geneva the Grand Massif and Giffre Valley is one of the most easily accessible alpine regions for you to explore. With extensive activities to hand during winter and summer, for the sports mad or cultural enthusiasts alike, Chalet Amaryllis is your perfect alpine retreat.

Accommodation:

  • 5 bedrooms comprising:
    • Rousse: Sleeps 4.  King size bed, and bunk bed.
    • Criou:  King size double bed 
    • Grenier: Sleeps 4 with a set of bunk beds and a king size double.
    • Saix: Twin or king size double room.
    • Buet: Twin or king size double room.
  • All rooms include, ensuite bathroom, hifi with CD and alarm, hairdryer, towels, bathrobes, and in the two 4 person rooms TV/DVD players.
  • Comfortable double height sitting and dining room with ample seating area, log fire and balcony.
  • Large dining table.
  • Television, DVD player, Xbox, WIFI access
  • Hot tub on the balcony with views of the mountains, sauna.
  • Outdoor pool for the summer. 
  • Garden perfect for making snow men, or in the summer relaxing and dining on the terrace!

  • Amaryllis is run on a half board basis during the winter and B&B with options of tea and dinner (if booked in advance) during the summer.
