Chalet Criou

• The chalet is located just 1km from three telecabines, which take you to the 265kms of skiing of the Grand Massif.
• Samoëns has been awarded the Coq D'Or, an award for it being one of the most beautiful villages in France, it is also a *** village fleurie.
• Samoëns is only a couple of minutes drive from the chalet, and has some delightful restaurants where you can have a variety of food from a simple pizza, local Savoyard dishes, such as raclette and fondue and of course classic French.
• The chalet is less than one hour's drive from Geneva airport, or a 7 to 8 hour motorway drive from Calais, which is very easy with only the last twenty minutes on ordinary roads.
• The chalet is primarily a self- catered chalet but it is available as a catered chalet or if you just want a few evening meals cooked then this is possible as well.
• A UK registered childminder is available to look after children from half a day to a full week and also for babysitting.

Fully Catered includes:
   
Continental breakfast daily; croissants, bread, jams, honey, nutella, cereals, boiled eggs, fresh fruit. Tea, coffee, fruit juices  
Afternoon teas laid out for your return from the slopes, daily; Cake of the day, a selection of hot drinks and squash.  
Evening meal on 6 nights of your stay:
For children there is an option of high tea served at 6.30 that will be a two course menu agreed in advance with you.  

For adults a four course meal including unlimited wine a typical menu would be;  
Starter Goats cheese stack with a pesto drizzle  
Main Honey glazed duck with dauphinoise potatoes and julienne vegetables  
Dessert Lovely lemony pud with a raspberry coulis  
To finish a selection of local cheeses and chutney with fresh coffee.   
We can cater for Vegetarians, and special diets on request.

Bread delivered to your door - should you not feel like going to the boulangerie in the morning then we can arrange for bread, croissant etc to be delivered to the chalet

• We have arranged a 20% discount on ski hire at two of the local ski hire shops
• If you fancy a change from skiing a local company has offered a discount to guests staying who go snow shoeing with them
• A UK registered Childminder is available to look after little ones.
• Cot, high chair and buggy are also available.
• We have arranged a 5-10% discount on ski lessons with an excellent local ski school
