We offer you high quality ensuite accommodation in a homely & welcoming chalet. Owner run, we (Nick & Kath) provide a uniquely personal and attentive service with a reputation for great (& plentiful!) home cooking.

We aim to help you get the most from your stay by providing local transport, and assistance with booking lessons and equipment etc as part of our holiday price. So you get a great holiday and great value for money.

Chalet Henriette is in a traditional village on the edge of a nature reserve. Our location combines a 'getting away from it all' feel with easy access to skiing and walking and amenities such as resturants and shopping in nearby Sixt and Samoens.

Accommodation:

  • Traditional chalet, 200 years old, lots of character. Catered in winter; B&B, catered or part-catered in summer.
  • Set in beautiful rural location, authentically French. Superb views and immediate access to the pistes and walking trails. With easy ride into town for restaurants and shopping etc.
  • 5 bedrooms, sleeping 12, all ensuite with shower, toilet, washbasin.
  • Large lounge and dining area with log burning fire, TV, DVD & great views.
  • Separate "Den" for games and reading etc.
  • Ski store, drying room & utility room downstairs; enclosed (south facing) garden.
  • 2 balconies with extensive views.

Cuisine:

Great home cooking and lots of it, including Savoyard specialities. Excellent vegetarian alternatives. Highly praised by previous guests. (See our website for sample menus). Part-catered and B&B options available in summer.

A 7 night catered stay includes:
  • 6 nights of delicious 3 course meals with aperitif, digestif and wine / beer included. (We have 1 evening off).
  • Extensive breakfast with choice of cereals, breads, juice, yoghurts, croissants / pain au chocolat, eggs, porridge.
  • Afternoon tea & cakes.
    PLUS:
  • Drink making facilities (tea, coffee, fruit juice, cordial etc) available at all times.
  • Honesty bar system for pre / post evening meals alcoholic drinks.
  • Fridge for guest use for sandwiches etc.

We will help you to make the most from your holiday e.g:

  • Minibus drop off / pick up service, AM & PM to ski lifts or walk / ride start/end.
  • Accompanied skiing and walking.
  • Assistance with booking lessons, gear hire, lift passes, guides and refuges.
  • Relaxing massage service - after that hard day out! (Both UK registered physiotherapists).
