  • Chalet Marvel looks like a traditional Savoyard farmhouse but is newly built with all modern comforts and a magnificent double height living room.
  • There is a private garden and an outdoor heated pool.
  • The chalet has stunning views of the valley and mountains around.
  • The villages closest to the chalet are Morillon and Samoëns. The medieval village of Samoëns has been awarded the Coq D’Or, an award for it being one of the most beautiful villages in France, it is also a “village fleurie”.
  • The chalet is available either self catered, fully catered or if you just want a few evening meals prepared for you we can organise that as well.
  • Outside the main peak times this winter we are happy to offer short breaks .
  • Samoëns is only a couple of minutes drive from the chalet, and has some delightful restaurants where you can have a variety of food, from a simple pizza, local Savoyard dishes, such as raclette and fondue and of course classic French.
  • Choice of three telecabines taking you up to the Grand Massif ski area within two minutes drive.
  • A UK registered childminder is available for childcare during the day and also for babysitting.
  • We have organised discounts for our guests with a local ski school and also ski hire.

Accommodation:

  • 4 bedrooms, 2 with ensuite bathrooms, the other 2 share a large bathroom.

  • NB. The chalet has been equipped with families in mind and there is a travel cot, highchair and buggy available subject to notice for those visiting with young children.

Fully Catered includes:
   
Continental breakfast daily; croissants, bread, jams, honey, nutella, cereals, boiled eggs, fresh fruit. Tea, coffee, fruit juices  
Afternoon teas laid out for your return from the slopes, daily; Cake of the day, a selection of hot drinks and squash.  
Evening meal on 6 nights of your stay:
For children there is an option of high tea served at 6.30 that will be a two course menu agreed in advance with you.  

For adults a four course meal including unlimited wine a typical menu would be;  
Starter Goats cheese stack with a pesto drizzle  
Main Honey glazed duck with dauphinoise potatoes and julienne vegetables  
Dessert Lovely lemony pud with a raspberry coulis  
To finish a selection of local cheeses and chutney with fresh coffee.   
We can cater for Vegetarians, and special diets on request.

Bread delivered to your door - should you not feel like going to the boulangerie in the morning then we can arrange for bread, croissant etc to be delivered to the chalet

  • Bed linen and towels included.
  • We have arranged a 10% discount on ski hire at two of the local ski hire shops
  • If you fancy a change from skiing a local company has offered a discount to guests staying who go snow shoeing with them
  • We have a UK registered childminder who can be booked to look after children from half a day to a whole week or for evening babysitting.
  • We have arranged a discount of between 5 -10% on ski lessons with a local ski school
