    • La Ferme du Merle was built in 1832, it is situated close to the centre of the gorgeous Savoyard village of Manigod and has stunning views of the beautiful Manigod valley.
    • There is a ski-bus that stops almost at the front door to whisk you to the La Clusaz slopes / ski school or it is about 5 minutes by car (there is a large free car park).
    • La Clusaz is under 1 hr from Geneva airport and is part of the huge Aravis ski area that provides 220km of skiing and 95 lifts with slopes suitable for all levels including extensive off-piste areas.  It has an excellent snow record and the slopes are open until the end of April. 
    • The ski school has many excellent English speaking instructors and is particularly "kid friendly".
    • The interior of the old farm has been totally renovated to a high standard, it is very well equipped and there is a wood burner fireplace. There are 4 bedrooms (3 of which are en suite) with a large lounge, dining room and kitchen.
    • La Ferme du Merle is a five minute walk from the village of Manigod, which boasts a bar/restaurant, mini supermarket, boulangerie, post office, tourist office, crèche and doctor.
    • The chalet is on a side road with very little passing traffic and enjoys magnificent views of the beautiful Manigod valley.
    • Other nearby attractions include the delightful mountain market town of Thônes and in complete contrast the beautiful medieval city of Annecy and its lake.
