• La Ferme de Florent is a lovely 18th century French farmhouse which has been completely renovated and newly furnished by us (Keith and Catherine Dowson) over the last 2 years.
• Set next to the slopes, where the Starski ski school meets, and in the village of Chinaillon, we are perfectly situated whether you want to ski, walk, shop or go into the village for a meal or drink.
• Chinaillon is within the Grand Bornand ski area and has is 90km of skiing ranging from cruising greens to one of the steepest blacks in Europe.
• Included in the Aravis ski pass are the La Clusaz and St Jean de Sixt ski areas with 120km and 5km of piste within easy reach should you want more variety.
• For those who don't wish to ski or board there is cross country ski-ing, snow walking, dog sledging, skating and swimming nearby, as well as local cafes and shops to visit. There is a weekly market in le Grand Bornand a cinema in Chinaillon and the beautiful old city of Annecy 45 minutes away.
