Chalet Le Mouflon La Rosiere 1850 – one of the best kept secrets in the Alps.
Our chalet is situated in the Vieux Village area of La Rosiere and is one of the oldest chalets in the village.
We’re only a few minutes from the centre, with its friendly bars and restaurants and just 5 minutes from the slopes via the free navette shuttle bus. The bus stop is 30 metres from the chalet and it runs every 15 minutes throughout the day however we can offer guests a free transfer for the short journey up to the slopes!
The skiing in La Rosiere is superb, over 150 kms of pistes in France and Italy, with an amazing snow record, the proximity to Mont Blanc creates our own little weather system which gives us a very snow-sure record.
There’s something for everyone here, it’s a great resort to learn to ski or board. The wide open blues leading up from the village mean that novices aren’t stuck on the beginner slopes all holiday. Intermediates can clock up the kilometres on super reds and blues, whilst the experts can find Black runs to challenge themselves and for the really adventurous there’s ‘the best value heli-skiing in Europe’ - Good Ski Guide 2002. The lift pass for the Espace San Bernadino, covering France and Italy also offers, in our opinion, the best value in the Alps.
